3+1+Master Program to NCUT Taiwan

Available only for Diploma 4 student.

Study 3 years at home university+join NCUT exchange program for 1 year + study NCUT master degree for 1 year.

ONLY 5 years to earn your bachelor degrees at home university & NCUT master degree

If you take courses at NCUT in the 3+1+1year, you can transfer maximum 16 credits for your master program.(Please note each department has different regulations on the number of credits you may transfer, so you shall follow the regulations of your department)

1 credit will be charged $1400NTD (50USD) for local students, and the credit fee for the foreign students is still under negotiation.

However, if you are an outstanding student and expert in your field, NCUT might could cover partial of your flight ticket and living expenses(Up to 6 months).

Tuition for 3+1+1students at NCUT

Tuition 100% or 50% waived or non-waived depends on the your Mandarin proficiency test

​Scholarship for 3+1+1 year

NTD 5,000 / per semester
- NTD 2,000 (Lab scholarship) / per month

- Living stipend up to NTD 15,000 every month
- Stay in Taiwan up to 6 months

- If you apply master program in Taiwan and got accepted, you can switch your exchange student visa to resident visa in Taiwan without flying back to your home country​

NCUT will provide 3 spots for each student.

The student shall choose the department that you would like to join and fill their rank order in the application form and NCUT will inform the result no later than July 29, 2022.

NCUT will waive the accommodation fee and tuition for the students.

An Active Diploma 4 student with a GPA >3.00 (an advantage).

In addition, please note that student will be responsible for following expenses on their own:

Flight ticket
-
Commercial insurance in Taiwan-NT 600/ month
-
Quarantine hotel+ Self-health management hotel - NT 2,500/day (The regulation in Taiwan so far is that students need to stay at the hotel for 15 days 14 nights)

***NCUT will keep you updated if the quarantine policy changed in Taiwan***

Taiwan SIM Card- NT 1,000 (They must purchase it at the airport due to the COVID prevention policy in Taiwan)

Quarantine taxi from airport to quarantine hotel in Taichung-NT 1,080

Quarantine taxi from quarantine hotel to self-health management hotel -NT 1,000
(However, if student test positive at the airport, the transportation fee might be different)

Students must bring cash upon their arrival since the scholarship can only be transferred to student bank account in Taiwan, which means NCUT have to wait for student to end student quarantine period first, and then take the student to the bank to open student bank account in Taiwan.

HOWEVER (Please read carefully !!!)
However, Taiwan central government just notified us that due to the OMICRON pandemic situation in Taiwan, the “Special Student Visas for 3+1+Master’s Program’s applicants” will NOT be open at this moment. NCUT apologize for any inconveniences caused, and thank you for your understanding.

​Student can still join "PURE TEEP" to study at NCUT for six months without risk of Visa issuing, or, if any of them are still interested in the "TEEP Funding for 3+1+Master’s Program", students can tick in the box in the application form to let NCUT know.
And once NCUT have any good news regarding the“Special Student Visas for 3+1+Master’s Program’s applicants”, NCUT will certainly help the student to apply for visa extension in Taiwan without returning back.
According to the current regulations of Taiwan central government without opening the “Special Student Visas for 3+1+Master’s Program’s applicants”, some risks of visa issuing are listed below:

Please note that if students choose "TEEP Funding for 3+1+Master’s Program", you might have to return to Indonesia to apply for the visitor visa 6 months later, and if Taiwan’s border is still not open for exchange student at that time, it’s possible that you can’t enter Taiwan.

If student finish your “+1” year at NCUT, and you would like to officially apply for the master program at NCUT, once you got accepted, you must return to Indonesia and apply for the resident visa to enroll at NCUT.
Hopefully, the students shall choose the type of program that they would like to join and fill your rank order in the application form and NCUT will inform you the result no later than July 29, 2022.
